This is the 2011 visual effects showoreel i did for Red Frog, the manchester based visual and special effects studio where i work as i director.It was a long and hard working year spending hours on different projects, new series and new challenges.

We currently finished visual effect for the last episode of the The Legend of Dick and Dom Series 3 and we are already busy in new projects and we are also evaluating new request from our clients as well as new and interesting opportunities from the busy film Industry here in the north west.

The Red Frog studio is considered one of the most prolific visual effects companies in the north west, with the ability to solve any problems and develop new technologies to achieve the best results for clients.

Edding 850 Marker made with Cinema4d

I created an Edding 850 marker that creates a spline and extrudes another spline object to give the illusion of writing.
The Marker is automatic, works using Xpresso.
I tried to recreate my old graffiti “Tag” i used back on the 90s

Dick and Dom Series 3, mission accomplished!

After almost two years of hard work, we finally sent to London the last shots of The legend of Dick and Dom series 3!!! It was a very very hard work because the episode “The numbskulls of the beast” is entirely in CGI with actors on a greenback. We manage to create more than 20 minutes of this episode in just 2 months, i think this is my personal record!
Today the episode will be on air on CBBC and again on BBC1 next saturday, don’t miss it!

Act of grace work completed

After few days of finally finished the work on the opening and closing sequence of the indie movie “Act of grace”.

I was involved in 3d animation, rendering, motion tracking and postproduction.

Directed by Noreen Kershaw the cast includes David Yip (Indiana Jones and the temple of doom), Jennifer Lim (Hostel) to name but a few.
